From the top of Mt. Azumaya the climbers can enjoy 360-degree panoramatic views including Mt. Asama and the northern Japanese alps. If you are the beginner, there is no problem. If using the Palcall gondola lift, it can be more easy to reach the top.

In this area you can also enjoy trekking in addition to the hot springs. Mt. Shirane is now prohibited from entering due to the risk of the eruption, but we recommend you to go to the Kenashi Pass. You will be able to see the great scenery.
